Field Troubleshooting Checklist

Collect enough evidence before escalating the issue

Photograph or record the symptom before changing settings.
Note whether the issue is constant, intermittent or content-dependent.
Confirm whether one module, one cabinet, one data chain or the whole screen is affected.
Record processor, receiving-card and configuration-file versions where relevant.
For camera issues, record frame rate, shutter speed, lens and shooting distance.
Use known-good components or ports to isolate one variable at a time.
Do not replace hardware until power and signal paths have been verified.
After correction, retest full-screen content, test patterns and normal operating conditions.
